Westley was a real character, he was very quick witted, his sense of humour was amazing and everyone that knew him loved to be in his company, as you knew that it would be a real laugh with him. His laugh was so contagious!!!!
i grew up with westley and his older brother we were neighbours, they were the brothers that i never had, i loved my childhood because of westley and his brother, we had so much fun and the summers seemed to go on forever...wish we could turn back time.
Westley would always look out for me even when i was older...i miss him so much.
on the 9th september 2006 westley went out in the early hours in his truck, no one really knows where he was going...no one saw him alive again..after 2 weeks of him being missing...he was found in his truck...he had crashed off a remote road..no body knew he was there.. he was dead at the tender age of 29... it felt like the world had ended..so many family and friends attended his funeral.. he was so loved.
i will never forget you westley.xx

legend

I went to school with westley. Same bus lots of the same classes. What a character. I can remember him really well and numerous things he got up to that make me smile even now. He was certainly unique. I only ever saw him once after school. We made eye contact but he was getting into a taxi and he was gone. When i heard what had happened i was quite upset for a few days but i decided upon this 'the flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long.' as fitting as possible and even though dying young is terrible you can never grow old in peoples memories! Strange that a girl from school messaged me for the 2nd time on f/book mentioning that me and him used to hang around together and had i heard what had happened..best wishes to the family and loved ones..RIP Westley. Gone not forgotten!

For always they will be,
Loved, remembered, treasured,
